Welcome.
This is the internet home for Bob and Irina Calin-Jageman.
Say hello to Octavian Calin-Jageman:
Tavi was born at 7:58 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Although our ultrasound tech predicted a whopping 9.5 lbs, Tavi came out a pretty normal 7lb 13 oz. As you can see, he's got a good start on a headful of hair and has his baby blues. More photos are here, with the latest photos here.
In other big news, we're moving to Chicago! Bob has accepted a position as assistant professor in the psychology department of Dominican University. Irina has accepted a position as research assistant professor in the anatomy department of Anatomy and Cell Biology in the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago. We'll be moving August 22, 2007. We'll update our contact info when we know it.
We're both neuroscientists, so these pages have information about our research, our teaching, and our professional experience.
During graduate school, Bob
ran a computer consulting business and developed COCOA, a
membership management package for chambers of commerece. The Cocoa
webpages are here.
